Bowers & Wilkins' most famous loudspeaker is the so-called "Ur-Nautilus" from 1993, whose cabinet has the unusual shape of a sea snail, from which the name also comes. This speaker incorporates tube technology, which absorbs the sound radiating backwards into the cabinet. This technology was also used in later loudspeaker series.
