Company profile[edit]
In the middle of the eighties the company KS-Audio (Kettelerstraße 51, 4534 Recke) was founded as successor of the loudspeaker production of KS-Electronic Kücke & Co. GmbH from Wuppertal.
In 1984, Kücke had finally handed over the equipment production to ASC and had also left the loudspeaker production. (Audio 4/82, Stereo 1984)
KS-Audio used the trademarks Audio Team and as KS - audio team. The devices still carried the well-known logo of KS Electronic.
Audio Team produced passive and active loudspeaker boxes. Besides the active modules, the former developer of Kücke, Friedrich Schmitz, again designed preamplifiers, tuners and power amplifiers for the new brand KS, which were built by Lindemann&Gabel in Wuppertal.
At the end of the eighties the brand Audio-Team seems to have disappeared.
