The company ALR was founded in 1984 as ART in Essen by Thomas Klaus and Klaus Gruber. In 1989 Karl-Heinz Fink joined the company and the name was changed to ALR. From the first day on, ALR has dedicated itself to basic acoustic research and the development of high-quality loudspeaker chassis and loudspeaker cabinets. In 1996 the company name was changed again. From then on ALR JORDAN products were distributed all over the world.
