DVD 7 is the Cyrus DVD player with best sound characteristics also for CD playback and contains the latest drive generation as well as the latest 24 bit converter technology as basic equipment. The DVD 7 Player can be upgraded with a separate PSX-R power supply. Even the somewhat slimmed-down, inexpensive DVD 6 version was rated Very Good in Audio 10/04:: CD and DVD sound are tonally very balanced and unobtrusive in a pleasant way.... More feel-good than analytical was the picture quality. Clear colours and fluid motion sequences dominated.
