As a semi-open headphone, the DT 880 doesn't have quite the bass power of its closed colleagues, otherwise it has an enormous sound potential. On the one hand, it sounds very open and lively with dynamic music, but can also convey emotions very well with classical vocals. All in all, these are headphones that are more associated with the bright, dynamic sound.
