My trusted technician did the math when I picked up my P500L from his repair shop on 08/10/2020, and he came to the conclusion that at 4 ohms there is a little over 1000 W of amplifier power. As usual Accuphase underplays with their power specifications, here especially ;-) 2 Ohm: 2x 550 W
