Company Profile[edit]

Sonos is a system that streams music on the home network (only!). It plays Internet radio, various music services such as Napster, lastfm, etc., and music files that are located in shared folders on network shares in the home network. System setup: - Router with standing DSL connection - network hard drive(s) (up to 16) with SMB (Samba) share - in these are the music files - a Sonos component

Sonos does not require any server software, as this is already integrated into the system. Sonos is therefore server and client in one, only the storage space is external.
