Reports[edit]
- Test in Stereoplay 11/1993, top class 2
- Test in Audio 11/1993 top class, 66 points, 3 ears
According to the Stereoplay test report, the difference to the Level 5 lies in the Level 5's larger bass section. According to Stereoplay, very linear frequency response with low distortion values. Classification in the top class range (2?).
Level 5 received the next higher rating due to deeper, more powerful bass range.
My sound impression level 4: dynamic, analytical in all areas, transparent, due to large midrange driver effortless midrange reproduction with kick bass. Metal dome tweeter is not noticeable by aggressiveness / obtrusiveness despite powerful, well-faithful treble reproduction (linear according to Stereoplay).
