Over time, the belt driving the CD pusher unit wears out. The slide with the player can then no longer position correctly on a CD tray and the device seems to be defective. It is also possible that the belt jumps off a pulley. Here only an exchange of the belt helps! Normal rubbers (also gladly taken double) hold only for a very short time.
