Template:Not template compliant The SL 60 is a two-way compact loudspeaker, equipped with the JET tweeter later taken over by Elac, used in the studio sector by the A.D.A.M. company and equally used in Burmester's speakers, and with a low-midrange driver by the now defunct GIA company, the special feature of which was that the diaphragm was made of chitin, which was or is obtained from ground insect shells.

The speaker still impresses with an exemplary impulse response and an extraordinary resolution in the high as well as in the midrange. Rather on the analytical side, but at the same time tremendously dynamic.

The SL-60 came in a Nextel coated grey MDF cabinet, or in black. There are versions with and without front panel.
