Company profile[edit]

Company owner is Dipl.-Ing. Norbert Lehmann. Lehmannaudio was founded in 1988, initially with the focus on sound recordings. From 1992 on phono preamplifiers, balancing stages and preamplifiers were manufactured in small series under the label ENTEC. At the beginning of 1998 the company name was changed to Lehmannaudio. The Black Cube phono preamplifier has been on the market since 1995. The Silver Cube reference phono preamp has been around since 2002.

In 2004 the headphone amplifier Black Cube Linear was released, which is now only sold under the name Linear.

In July 2007 the company moved from Cologne Porz to Bergisch Gladbach. Since August 2010 there is the company Lehmannaudio Vertriebs GmbH in the company Lehmannaudio merged. Lehmannaudio products are available in about thirty countries worldwide.

Phono preamplifier'

Black Cube Statement - MM/MC Phono Preamplifier. Four gain settings (31db; 41dB; 51dB; 61dB). Slot for selector impedance. Power supply: Wide range switching power supply (since approx. January 2011).

Black Cube - MM/MC phono preamp. Four gain settings (36db; 46dB; 56dB; 66dB). 2x slot for selector impedance.

Black Cube SE - MM/MC phono preamplifier. Four gain settings (36db; 46dB; 56dB; 66dB). 2x slot for selector impedance.

Black Cube SE II - MM/MC phono preamplifier. Four gain settings (36db; 46dB; 56dB; 66dB). 2x slot for selector impedance.

Decade - MM/MC phono preamp with Class-A output stage without over-all negative feedback. Four gain settings (36db; 46dB; 56dB; 66dB). Gain switchable from the front. Capacities selectable via DIP-SC holder. Slot for selector impedance. Power supply: Linear power supply with custom toroidal transformer with grounded shield winding (static shield). AHP fuse as standard.

Silver Cube - MM/MC phono preamp in solid milled case with FET Class-A output stage without over-all negative feedback. Four gain settings (36db; 46dB; 56dB; 66dB). Gain switchable on the rear, channel-separated. Capacities selectable via DIP-SC holder. Slot for selectable impedance. Since May 2011 equipped with amagnetic TKD resistors in the small signal path, WBT Nextgen RCA sockets, SSC device feet for power supply and audio section, and AHP fuse as standard.

Rhinelander - Headphone amplifier with Class-A output stage without over-all negative feedback. Power supply: Wide range switching power supply (since approx. January 2011)

Linear - headphone amplifier with class-A output stage without over-all negative feedback. Power supply: Linear power supply with specially manufactured toroidal transformer with grounded shield winding (static shield).

Linear USB - Headphone amplifier with Class-A output stage without over-all negative feedback. Additional built-in USB D/A converter. Source selection is automatic: The USB converter is switched through as soon as the Linear USB detects a valid audio data stream.

Stamp - 2x20W audiophile small power amplifier with bi-wiring capability

Stamp SE - 2x20W audiophile small power amplifier with bi-wiring capability, unit built in special cabinet. Mundorf signal capacitors, SSC feet and AHP fuse as standard. Cabinet also available in real wood veneer.
