The Art Audiophile mono amp blocks correspond technically to the amp 1 stereo power amplifier, about which the manufacturer gives the following information in the 1993 Funkausstellung brochure:

"... The loudspeaker outputs are analogous in phase to the inputs. DC-coupled circuits with bipolar transistors, up to 12 W (...) in Class A technology, up to 45 W into 8 ohms (85 W into 4 ohms) in the B range. Power supplies with "battery character" are able to provide very high impulse power for a short time. In combination with tube preamps a stress-free. highly analytical sound is achieved. With a high damping factor over the entire frequency range, virtually any loudspeaker is "under control"."

The power amplifier provides an output power of 30 watts sine into 8 ohms at 775mV input voltage (1kHz). Non-linear distortion at 2/3 rated power is < 0.01%.

The original price was 3,200 Marks in 1989, 4,200 DM per pair in 1993.
