Tannoy Kingdom 18
Brief description[edit]
Tannoy Kingdom 18 was the heaviest loudspeaker ever built by Tannoy and not intended for Europe. No dealer (contrary to some opinions on the net) in Europe could ever have sold new Kingdom 18s. The only way to buy Kingdom 18s during the entire production period was overseas, so considering the horrendous extra costs (transport, customs and tax) only 3 pairs of Kingdom 18s made it to Europe. Most likely this is only due to the confusion with the smaller Kingdom 12 and 15. All "fake" sales offers that can be researched so far have pictures of my Kingdom 18s in my possession, my living space...
