The MK IV version is a modified MK III variant for professional use in smaller recording studios and discotheques.

The tacho-controlled DC drive was replaced by an electronically controlled AC drive. Other changes included a tighter starting clutch for a shorter ramp-up time and a harder suspended sub-chassis.
