Remarks

  • Five Active was designed specifically for the FineArts tube preamplifier and was only produced in a very small number of units. Grundig had never launched their own tube power amplifier for the PreTube. The active speakers were therefore a necessary addition to the preamplifier. However, after a short time a cooperation was made with the German high-end manufacturer Restek for the distribution of a power amplifier and a phono preamplifier. The units were taken from the regular Restek range and given a FineArts name suffix.
