Reports[edit]

  • The technical data from the most different sources are partly not consistent. The Revox G 63 was built in the versions MK I to MK III.
  • At the beginning of the 60s, the Revox F36 model was completely revised. This resulted in the Revox G36 tape recorder. This high-quality tube tape recorder now had 26.5 cm reels, two VU meters for the sound control and a synchronous motor for the tape drive, which ensured a very even tape transport. The first models of the G36 had a "tape feel lever" on the right side of the tape channel which switched the machine to stop at the end of the tape. Later models of the G36 tape recorder were then fitted with a photoelectric end-of-tape switch similar to those later fitted to the A77, B77 and PR99.
