Hello, the photo of the SH-8000 (taken from audioScope) shows, in my opinion, a small inadmissibility: the microphone shown was not part of the set SH-8000. This is an RP-3800E, a measuring microphone offered separately by Technics. The microphone that came with the SH-8000 set looked very similar, but didn't have the two silver trim strips near the on-off switch. It came in four different tech measurements (A-D) and had a corresponding sticker. There is a configuration switch in the SH-8000 that could be used to set the unit to the different micro variants. The RP-3800E shown in the photo was only available in one variant. The RP-3800E certainly also works on the SH-8000, but is then not optimally adapted.
