Remarks[edit]

  • The Nakamichi TX-1000 turntable features the revolutionary "absolute Center Search System" automatic record centering system.
  • A microprocessor detects any concentrating error present in the recording as it rotates on the platter and automatically compensates for it.
  • This completely eliminates any off-center rotation that may be caused by eccentricity and tolerances of the plate spindle hole
  • This unique system achieves its goal with a dual plate configuration: on top of the main aluminum plate is a laterally moving secondary glass plate
  • When the correct centre is established, the synchronisation variations are reduced to an absolute minimum.
  • The information contained in the plate grooves is 100% extracted
