Reviews
- I had the Technics SB EX7s on my stereo system and balanced them in dis parlor for comparison with my Nubert 122s (giant columns and quite slim). After initial listening, the two speakers sounded quite similar. However, it became apparent that the Nubert has a bit too peaky highs and that the bass response of electric basses is almost completely missing.
The Technics SB EX7 plays the bass lines so clearly and has such a homogeneous sound; one tone blends in with the other without any of them coming to the fore, CLASS. After extensive testing I have come to the conclusion that the Nubert 122 will be sent back and that I will definitely keep the Technics SB EX7. (Or maybe buy the KEF XQ40 ? (Or maybe get the KEF XQ40, but I suspect that the 165 mm diaphragm won't produce the same bass as the Technics).
Listening tip: France Gall / Ella Elle L'a
Just the beginning of the song is enough. It sounds so BASSIG that I usually listen to the song several times.
