Third edition of the Revox A 77:
The biggest changes were in the looks. So the third version has a grey lower front panel, the VU meters now have a silver scale and are not only illuminated when ready to record.
Years of manufacture: August 1971 to August 1974, after which came another visually revised stage, the MK IV
