Question:

Does anyone know what exactly the designation "DC" in "Stereo DC Power Amp Rotel RB-1000" (or also "RB-2000") means? Maybe "Direct Current" / DC (compare AC = Alternating Current)? If so - why this designation? Can the amplifier perhaps be driven with a particularly low number of ohms at the speaker output?

Or what else distinguishes these amplifiers? The powerful power supply?

Thanks for an answer!
