- In the equipment it resembles strongly the Sony MDS-JE 330
- There are feet only at the bottom front. with metal ring. At the bottom back are bulges punched out of the bottom of the device
- The production location of the device is not written on the back (unusual)
- The device can record with ATRAC 3 as well as in the conventional ATRAC. However, the Atrac 3 recordings are not playable by older MD decks.
