Description[edit]

Very large loudspeaker with modular housing for sound reinforcement in event and stage technology. It contains an array of three air motion transformers ESS Heil AMT 1 for the tweeter, whose different control (1.5 ways) results in a slightly downward radiation. As a stage loudspeaker is usually positioned above the audience, a correct sound distribution to the audience is achieved. The mid and low frequency range are driven by a 2.5 way concept by adding further drivers in the low frequency range. The cabinet consists of five cabinet modules and can be disassembled for transport. The individual components are:

  • base with integrated crossover network
  • low bass module
  • lower bass / midrange module
  • tweeter module
  • upper bass/bass/midrange module
  • 2 stainless steel side panels
  • 4 rear panels

The Heaven's Gate was disassembled again in 2018 to use individual parts in other speakers.
