Brief description[edit]

The Transmissionline 1808 floorstanding speaker was the top model in the HiFi stereo speaker range of 1990/1991. Two 26 cm woofers, a 13 cm cone midrange driver and a 25 mm fabric dome tweeter shared the three ways of the frequency range, which extended from 23 - 25,000 Hz, in the imposing 140 cm high cabinet.

The same loudspeaker was also listed as model Aristos TL IV in WHD's self-build catalogue with all construction plans.
