Product type :Mixing amplifier

Model : MA-62 A
Brand : Pioneer

The MA 62 is a 6-channel mic / line / phono stereo mixing amplifier for use as a professional quality multi-channel mixing is needed. It accepts up to six low impedance, high quality microphones and features two pairs of stereo outputs.

Two of the six individually controlled input channels in the MA 62 accept phono signals as well as microphone inputs, while the remaining four are shorted for line or microphone use. This purposeful arrangement means that you can get a properly balanced stereo or mono mix from Mic/Line, Mic/Phono or even Phono/Line Plus Mic input, without connections.

Dedicated Pan-Pot (panorama pot) controls are provided on Channel 3 and Channel 4 to allow cross-channel panning. Position selectors are provided on channel 1, 2, 5 and 6 so that some or all can be switched to Left, Right, Left/Right (Center) output. Microphone attenuator (20dB) for all microphone inputs, microphone low cut filter (switched for each channel) and a master output level fader, stereo headphone monitor jack and other useful features are included.

The MA 62 is Pioneer's answer to the needs of discotheques, disc jockeys, small studios and amateur sound engineers for a versatile professional quality mixing console. PROFESSIONAL Pan Pot Program Station Two of the six individually controlled input channels are equipped with easy to use pan potentiometers (pan knobs). These continuously variable knobs (on channels 3 and 4) allow free sound localization from left to right (or anywhere in between). All other channels (channels 1, 2, 5 and 6) are equipped with location switches, allowing you to select left, right or left / right (center) output individually.

MIC MUTE SWITCHES (-20dB) Each of the six channels is provided with a switching power supply microphone attenuator to instantly reduce signal strength by 20 dB. This feature is helpful in preventing saturation (clipping distortion) of microphone input signals.

Low Cut Filter Each of the six channels is provided with a switched low cut filter circuit to the microphone input. These are useful to suppress unwanted low frequencies or "dirty" human voices.

DESIGNED for practical use The Pioneer MA 62 is completely portable, operates from any AC power supply and is designed to bring absolutely no unwanted distortion or coloration to the sounds you hear through the channel. Its wide dynamic range and stability are completely reliable. Additional features include two stereo outputs, pointer index marks for each of the six long throw-in faders (plus master volume faders), a "scratch board strip for writing down reminders, and a monitor jack for stereo headphones.
