Sony integrated amplifier with MOSFET and phono section

Equipment, Connections and Technical Data:

Discretely constructed power amplifier with high-quality MOSFET (MOS field-effect transistors), i.e. no cheap power amplifier IC as in the latest amplifier generation
   Metal front
Inputs for Phono, Tuner, CD, AUX, Tape1 / DAT, Tape2 / MD
   Rec outputs: Tape1 / DAT, Tape2 / MD
   3 switchable 230V sockets
Two pairs of speakers connectable, A, B or A+B switchable
   Rotatable input selector
Source Direct switch (bypassing the tone control)
Loudness (boost bass and treble at low volume)
   Tape1 / DAT monitor switch
   Continuous sine wave power (DIN, 1 kHz): 2 x 75 W at 4 Ohm, 2 x 60 W at 8 Ohm load
Line input sensitivity: 150 mV (50 kOhm input impedance)
Sensitivity of phono input: 2.5 mV (50 kOhm input impedance)
Speaker impedance: 4 to 16 ohms (8 to 16 ohms when speaker pair A+B is used in parallel)
Signal-to-noise ratio: 100 dB (line inputs), 76 dB (phono input)
Frequency response: 7 Hz to 100 kHz (!) (-3 dB) (line inputs), RIAA equalization curve (±0.5 dB) (phono input)
Distortion factor: less than 0.025% (at 10 W output power)
   Attenuation factor: 50 (8 Ohm, 1 kHz)
   Dimensions: 43 x 13.5 x 37.5 cm (WxHxD), Weight: approx. 6.6kg, SN 4503207
