- „... No other product that we know of currently manages to fit refined acoustics into a small enclosure so competently and, on top of that, to come up trumps in terms of equipment. By integrating high-quality dual class A/B mono amplifiers in each of the two sound dispensers, the inclined music lover can dispense with the search for power amplifiers just as he can dispense with expensive preamplifiers. With the help of high-quality sound cards, converters or CD players, the Dynaudio Focus110A allows the operation of a compact and highly efficient chain (e.g. also directly via the LS outputs of flat screen TVs). This is what saving money in 2010 looks like at a high level! ...“

With the Focus 110 A compact loudspeaker, Dynaudio has achieved a small coup - the sound value for money is very high and this applies all the more as thanks to the active concept, savings can be made upstream, i.e. in the hi-fi electronics. At least the expenditure for the power amplification is omitted - this is in the nature of the thing - and personally I am even of the opinion that one drives in all probability sonically better, if one invests instead of a separate preamplifier in a high-quality source. Which of course must have an adjustable high level output and ideally should be able to take over certain pre-functionalities (access for further sources). ...“
