Notes

  • In early 1978 Toshiba introduced a whole range of new receivers, the second largest being the SA-7100.
  • The design concept looks not dissimilar to the popular Pioneer receivers of the time.
  • Unique, however, is the beautiful front flap, which descends in a muted manner.
  • The SA-7100 is an analogue receiver with a powerful output stage. Fascinating are the feel of the buttons and switches. Everything is made of metal, switches click into place with momentum.

The wonderfully powerful sound should also be mentioned. Especially with the Loudness button activated, basses of the deepest elemental force can be reproduced.
