Reviews

  • This record player, made in Japan, is a belt driven fully automatic record player.
  • There are two test lugs built into the platter (die-cast aluminum) to test the record size.
  • The point of contact of the needle is accordingly on LP or single inlet groove. This can be adjusted to the mm.
  • A push on the "Start/Stop" button activates the mechanism. A slide switch "Cueing" raises/lower the needle. A slide switch "Speed" sets the number of revolutions to 33/45 rpm. A single puck is sunk into the turntable, which can be brought out by light pressure and rotation (thanks to the spring).

The needle system is compatible with "Ortofon OMT 10".

  • The level is acceptable and without noise. A motor hum is not perceptible.
  • Due to the low mass of the turntable and the tonearm, it is somewhat sensitive to dance. It is not a disco system.

The weight of the needle is not adjustable, which is not necessary because of the good system.
