Der Orfeo 25/80 ist ein absoluter Traumplattenspieler. Er hat meinen sehr guten Thorens 126 mk III mit Koshin-Lustre GST 901 Arm abgelöst, der ja auch kein schlechter Plattenspieler ist. Vom ersten Takt der Musik war klar, es liegen Welten dazwischen. Was der Orfeo, bestückt mit einem guten Arm (bei mir SME IV) und einem guten System (Ruby II Open Air) aus der Platte an Grob- wie Feindynamik rauskitzelt, erstaunt mich immer wieder. Auch nach 3 Jahren in meinem Besitz ist nie mehr der Wunsch nach etwas anderem aufgekommen. Die Aufrüstung auf ein großes Netzteil war nochmal eine deutliche Verbesserung. Ich kann jedem Hifi Enthusiasten nur wärmstens empfehlen, sich diesen Traumdreher mal anzuhören, zu sparen und zu kaufen. Damit ist dann auch das Ende der Reise erreicht und man kann einfach nur noch in Musik baden....

Even after 3 years in my possession, the desire for something else has never arisen. The upgrade to a large power supply was again a significant improvement. I can only warmly recommend every hifi enthusiast to listen to this dream turntable, save up and buy it. This is then also the end of the journey and you can just bathe in music....

The Orfeo 25/80 is an absolute dream turntable. It has replaced my very good Thorens 126 mk III with Koshin-Lustre GST 901 arm, which is also not a bad turntable. From the first beat of the music it was clear, there are worlds between. What the Orfeo, equipped with a good arm (SME IV in my case) and a good system (Ruby II Open Air) gets out of the record in terms of coarse and fine dynamics, never ceases to amaze me. Even after 3 years in my possession, the desire for something else has never arisen. The upgrade to a large power supply was again a significant improvement. I can only warmly recommend every hifi enthusiast to listen to this dream turntable, save up and buy it. This is then also the end of the journey and you can just bathe in music....
