Company profile[edit]
Technics is a trade name of Panasonic Corporation (formerly Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.) and manufacturer of hi-fi products. Influenced by the economic crisis in many developed countries, the Technics brand was discontinued in 2010. Since 2014, the Technics brand is back.
Beyond HiFi, Technics also manufactured electric organs, digital pianos, digital ensembles and keyboards. This division has since been discontinued.
