- The 731Q finally brought quartz locking of the drive control electronics. Unfortunately, however, it also meant the abandonment of a tonearm height adjustment and a non 1/2 inch standard cartridge mount, making the unit quite inflexible in terms of TA selection. In addition, the effective mass of the tonearm has been further reduced.
