Kommt klanglich nicht ganz an das [[Yamaha KX-670|670]] er ran. Aufnahmen mit dem 670er klingen auf dem 690er besser (gleiches Laufwerk). Bedienung sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, Steller und Taster durch Klappe sehr versteckt - weniger ist eben manchesmal mehr. Echtzeit stimmt nicht mehr so toll! Schlechte Abschirmung Unten, Brummeinstreuung gegeben! HW

Operation needs a lot of getting used to, knobs and buttons are hidden by a flap - sometimes less is more. Real time is no longer so great! Poor shielding at the bottom, hum interference given! HW
Eine Lundemannsmechanik, eine Unterlegeplatte damit der Luftspalt sich begradigt, ich behaupte die Mechanik hat Yamaha damals für höchstens 20 DM von Alps zugekauft!!HW

A Lundemann mechanism, an underlay plate so that the air gap straightens out, I claim that Yamaha bought the mechanism from Alps at that time for no more than 20 DM!

After 20 - 25 years the belts have to be changed of course - NEW!!!HW

Doesn't quite match the sound of the 670. Recordings with the 670 sound better on the 690 (same drive).
