Remarks[edit]
- Remarkable similarity with the later TA-6510, but the TA-2051 is from 1993. Also the BdA is the same (!), although the TA-2051 is only in German, the TA-6510 in three languages.
The unit has like all Onkyos of that time still the old Onkyo size with 45.5 cm width. The corners in front are made of plastic, the front of metal.

Test reports[edit]
- Stereoplay 11/1993: top class II (very good), sound very good, processing good. "Very good dynamics ... high output" (p.50).
- Hifi Vision 12/93: good to very good, sound good, workmanship very good.
- Stereo 11/94: good, 1 star. "Plus: Durable,low-noise and melodious, processed with great attention to detail. Minus: "limited dial-in capability, no timer start." (S.50)
- Reviews of the TA-6510 - see there.
