- This model marked the beginning of the "Hedgehog" story. "Hedgehog" was a nickname at this time, not a product name. Other models included the PA 50 and PA 50T, and currently the Igel 60.
- The manufacturer offers an upgrade service ( 280 € ) where sound determining components are replaced by new ones (if necessary). In any case new power supply electrolytic capacitors from Panasonic, emitter resistors with lower inductance, fresh end transistors are used. Instead of Sanken 2SC2837 and 2SA1294 the same types from the Chinese-Indian company ISC are used.
