Remarks[edit]
The Musical Fidelity V-Link II accepts data from a Windows, Mac (OS X) or Linux computer via a USB 2.0 interface with a resolution of up to 24 bit and 96 kHz. Drivers are not required, any audio software can be used.
The USB interface works asynchronously, the connection to the DAC is done via S/PDIF, either coaxial or optical. The transmission is bit-transparent, without resampling. The data rate is passed on to the DAC unchanged.
