Im Hörraum hieß es erst mal tief Luft holen, denn was die Focal Expression an Dynamik, Offenheit und Schaldruck aus den Platten holte waren schlicht weg phänomenal. Das sich dazu noch Neutralität und eine hervorragende Ortbarkzeit gesellten, war die zweite Überraschung. Die Spitzenkl.1-Referenzen ACR Isostatig 300 ( Bausätze) und T+A TMR 160 (Fertigboxen 7500,- DM Paar) lieferten der Expression heiße Gefechte. Zwar konnte die T+A insgesamt noch ein Tätschchen ausgewogener musizieren, und die ACR glich ihren innerhalb des Trios etwas schmächtigen Bass mit superfeinen funkelnden Obertönen aus, aber in Sachen Lebendigkeit konnte der Expression keiner was vormachen.
