Treble: If you listen to this speaker for a longer period of time you will notice that the very high treble frequencies are quite unpleasant. This was achieved by using a 10nF HT crossover with a resistor of 33 Ohm in parallel. of 33 Ohm. For the upcoming CD era this was a fascinating new sound! I have eliminated this mode-related unpleasantness by bridging these components and connecting a 2.7 Ohm in series to the HT. Since then the highs are linear.
Bass:' You can always hear lows, but they are very imprecise. In the crossover a 0.47 Ohm resistor is connected in parallel to the two TTs in parallel. This results in a less strong coupling of the TTs to the power amp, the cabinet volume can contribute better. (Reflections from the cabinet have a retroactive and time delayed effect on the TT diaphragm). If a musician wants to reproduce the bass of a piece, he must be able to hear the pitch exactly.
