Actually Klein + Hummel, founded shortly after World War II by Walter Hummel, Horst Klein and Heinrich Brumm. On March 1, 2005, the K+H brand was acquired by the Sennheiser group of companies and continued until December 31, 2009. Since 2010, the K+H product divisions have been continued under the umbrella of the Sennheiser Group, but the KLEIN + HUMMEL brand has disappeared from the market. In the process, Sennheiser takes over the sub-segment of fixed sound reinforcement technology for new buildings ("Installed Sound"), studio monitors and electronics are transferred to the Sennheiser subsidiary Georg Neumann GmbH.
