The Braun TS 501 tuner has a digital tuning and a quasi-analogue display in the form of an LED chain with 64 dots in the 300 kHz grid for VHF, with +/- display for 100 kHz deviation, as well as 9 kHz grid for MW 1 and MW 2. A LED is assigned to each grid or channel. For the +/- indication one green and one red LED are provided.
The oscillator frequency required for reception is generated by a PLL synthesizer with quartz reference. The set frequency is therefore crystal stable.
Here, Braun has put into practice its latest technical findings in digital technology, based on thorough preliminary work, combined with the wealth of experience of Braun development in the field of high fidelity, in a receiver concept which, on the one hand, allows you the easiest operation, and, on the other hand, permits subtleties in operation to receive the station of your choice even under the most difficult conditions. As always, the performance data are the hallmark of good Braun quality, and far exceed the DIN 45500 standard.
