- In 1982, P2 and P3 first appeared in the brochures. As a fully automatic machine, the P3 is the direct successor to the Braun Atelier P 1, whereas the Braun Atelier P 2 is probably to be seen as an entry-level variant.
- Delivered with a DUAL/Ortofon moving magnet system. Also in the inner life of the turntables much looks like Black Forest technology.
