Beim AX-2000A (Zusatz 'A' für Analog) handelt es sich um eine Variante des AX-2000, aber ohne Digital- und Video-Sektion, dafür mit einem symmetrischen Audio-Eingang. Dieses Gerät wurde offensichtlich nur in Japan vertrieben, bisher wurde weder in Europa noch in den USA ein AX-2000A gefunden.
