For a device that was produced in 1990, an indication of the new price in Euro is a bit unclear ... Is it the price converted into Euro or one of the currencies of that time? Which one?

In 1990 cheap CD players cost 250 D-MARK, not like today (2018) - 29,95€ -. TWO € for the manufacturer and that's how they sound!!! IT'S not the converters of course - it's the then "seasoned" ANALOGSTUFEN that made the reference sound!!!HW
