The acoustic centers of the midrange and tweeter are laterally offset in a certain ratio to reduce the influence of secondary sound waves. This made it possible to achieve the slim cabinet format with the relatively large woofer. It is no longer fully in use in the range of the relevant wavelengths and also bundles there, which reduces the influence of the edges.
