Reviews[edit]
- The T-9890 DSR was the last truly great high-end tuner from Onkyo.
- It was built in Japan in 1995 and can be compared to the legends Onkyo T-9990 and Onkyo T-4970 in FM reception. In Stereoplay it was tested against its predecessor, the T-9990, and no difference was found.
It separates razor-sharp, has also RDS and everything imaginable useful for the demanding FM listener. 2 relay switched antenna inputs (but no LW, KW or even MW).
- Visually it matches the 88 series Onkyo. Large remote control. Only in black.
Furthermore, it should be mentioned that it also has a DSR tuner (see link), but that has finally settled in 1999.
