Description[edit]
Pulse-designed loudspeaker from the development of the company Michael Weidlich Audio. The model is with its equipment and the housing concept but independent and has no similarity with other Myro speakers.
The striking baffle geometry allows the simultaneous sound radiation in the direction of the listener. For this purpose, the woofer, whose acoustic center is located relatively far back due to its size, was adapted to the acoustic centers of the mid-high unit by a front baffle.
The acoustic centre of the tweeter has exactly the same depth offset as that of the midrange unit due to its sound guidance (waveguide). The mirror-image arrangement of the midrange drivers above and below the tweeter ensures symmetrical sound radiation in the transmission range of the short wavelengths (high-midrange). The tweeter plays together with the midrange drivers over a wide transition range. This results in favourable conditions for the radiation behaviour, especially due to the symmetrical arrangement of the drivers.
To adapt the speaker to the reproduction conditions of the listening room in the bass range, the speaker has a variable bass reflex tuning: three bass reflex tubes are used.
