- Distortion factor: <0.2 %
- Characteristic sound pressure level at 1 khz: 94 dB
- Connector: 3.5/ 6.3 mm jack plug
- Cable length: copper cable 3 m
Features:
- Connecting cable made of highly conductive copper (OFC), pluggable,
- minimized body sound sensitivity,
- neodymium-iron magnet system for optimum sensitivity and high dynamic range,
- excellent impulse response due to the low mass of the aluminium drive coil,
- large area broadband diaphragm systems optimized by laser interferometry,
Remarks[edit]
- The OVATION 2 immerses you in incredibly wide spaces and extremely clear spheres.
- An ultimate listening pleasure for AUDIO-GOURMETS that fully inspires every day anew.
At its time, there was hardly a better headphone in the price range. However, it does not tolerate However, they do not tolerate continuous loud listening, which drastically reduces the life of the transducer elements. The connections of the cables at the headphone are constructive weak points and the stretcher comfort with current Sennheiser models of the same price range. Sennheiser models of the same class (HD-595/HD-598) is considerably better. Unfortunately, however, these no longer as good as the HD-560 Ovation II.
