Otherwise, beautifully spacious and simply pleasant. Hours of listening never makes the listener tired. Just a pity that this tradition is not continued in stereo. Unlike the other (also good and nice sounding) converters, the 2000 takes a very different approach both technically and sonically. It is quite quickly noticeable that it handles the music so finely that it sounds very analog. Never intrusive, yet very careful with every detail. Otherwise, beautifully spacious and simply pleasant. Hours of listening never makes the listener tired. Just a pity that this tradition is not continued in stereo. This listening pleasure has to be paid for at a higher price elsewhere, even in 2008.
