Notes
A system change seems in the first moment a little the / a choice of system / system manufacturer to limit, currently are in this area still some manufacturers present. By the specifications of the T4P standardization is a conversion quickly made to a pleasure = complex adjustment and setting work is completely omitted (and make besides wrong settings impossible). From there T4P pickup system changes are compared to those with 1/2" systems very quickly and "adjusted" done.
With e.g. an Ortofon OMP (a T4P) system the player plays in remarkable quality (besides, the supply with current /(manufacturer-sided) new needles of the OM 10-40 series is secured even longer (because a widespread system).
At my player I have replaced all red LED's (except those for the repeat display) by green > (m.p.M.n.) is the/one red "warning people- display" for the indicated operating states not appropriate; a e.g. green illumination is / works here much friendlier.
Recommendations
When buying used, make sure that the documents (at least the service manual / as well as the operating instructions) are available / provided.
The Service- Manual' is in any case important if the player has not been serviced with the respective adjustments at (or after) the time of the mains voltage changeover (220V to 230V).
As with all Direkt- Drive (controlled) one should exchange the original Cinch cables at these players against shielded (besides their shielding also cleanly separate on GND connect)>>> around with it foreign interferences on the engine control (mostly uncontrolled "revving up") to avoid.

Reviews[edit]
- I was looking for an affordable tangential player , for 80€ I found one , with orginal system and still good needle. I chose the Yello "toy" as a test record. The player runs perfectly, nowadays not self-evident with so "old electronics". If you look for the player on the net, you will find that it is a "plastic" part, and it will be made to look like a "chinakracher".
This is by no means a cheap product. The underside is made of solid sheet metal and very stable. The turntable is made of aluminium. Even with the original system I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound. And the operation is really easy! The advantage is just the exact scanning of the plate.
- Clear 80s design is not so great but you can pimp yes!
