Short description[edit]
Here we try to list some Onkyo devices of the Integra series. e.g. cassette deck TA 2090 or the CD player DX 6570.
The Integra series from Onkyo was built in the early 80s until 1992. After that, this product line was merged into "Integra Quest".
Limitation
Please no more than four units per category.
Integra Philosophy[edit]
Onkyo pursued with this Integra series a high-quality product philosophy under use of newest semiconductor technology and best transformers. Other manufacturers had a similar view to install newest and best technology in Hifi components, e.g. "Akai with Reference Master".
Onkyo took it to the extreme with the best components for hi-fi equipment with the "Grand Integra" - devices, e.g. A-8990 and DX-6990. In Japan the devices were called: A-2001 and C-2001 and in the USA: A-G10 and DX-G10.
This was reflected in the prices (over 4,000 DM each), but clearly showed the competition from Onkyo their limits.
